The TubeCube! offers a USB mini b connector, RCA, or 3.5mm stereo mini jack and is just the thing for adding a bit of retro to your desktop while adding tube warmth to your music. Made in Japan, the TubeCube! is made and assembled with high quality components to provide the best possible audio signal. Assembly is a breeze requiring only a pair of pliers.
The TubeCube! drives my 10” Full Range 99 dB speaker really well.
It also drives my Whatmough P28s well, at 92 dB a loudspeaker of significantly lower sensitivity.
I would describe the sound as in between a valve amp without any PCB and solid state; it sounds closer to my Creek Evolution.
It also sounds better than a significantly more expensive, retail brand valve amp which I had bought and then returned.
